The good news: Joseph Lieberman was defeated in Connecticut's Democratic Primary.
The bad news: he's still running as an independent.
It's nice to see Democrats purging the Republicans from their ranks. Naturally, Lieberman was not pleased. "For the sake of our state, our country and my party, I cannot and will not let that result stand," he was quoted as saying on ABC.com ("Dems Rally Around Lieberman Opponent").
